Day 1 in Vegas

Ok so we are back at the room after a most exhausting walk down the strip this morning. We wandered from the MGM Grand down to the Wynn/Encore and back. On the way down we stopped at all the hotels and wandered through...planned to do the same on the way back on the other side, but my feet just weren't having it. So we are rejuvinating and getting ready for another long night out on the town...man we are getting old!!!

Here are a few picks from our travels this morning. While we stopped at the Flamingo they had this little garden area with different birds, fish and yep...turtles. Had to take this pic for the kids...Noah loves turtles!
Then you won't believe it....we ran into some celebrities that we had to get pics with...Tim McGraw...
and Tiger & Arnold watched as Jason went for his birdie....Now he can't say he didn't get to golf..hahahah!!
We also took in a little taste of Italy..watching the gondolas go through the hotel...beautiful!
These are some pretty waterfalls outside the Wynn...awhhh. I love waterfalls. Working on getting Jason to build a little one in the front yard...told him to take notes :o)

Alrighty...I'm getting yelled at to get off the computer so we can get ready to go back out..love to all!

We are here!!!!

We finally arrived in Vegas late last night. Plane landed around midnight eastern time. We got a very quick tour of the strip as our shuttle dropped off at the various hotels. By the time we checked into our hotel it was 1:30am and Jason still wanted to explore. We took a walk through the walkway that connects our hotel with the MGM Grand. Checked out the different restaurants, casino, shops, etc and then came out the other side on the strip. Few random pictures below from outside the MGM.

and New York New York:

By the time we got back to the room it was after 3am eastern time and I was DONE! So now we are on west coast time...we both had trouble sleeping past 6:15am pst. Off to get ready and explore a lot more today. Breakfast buffet is calling my name!!! More to come ....

Opening Day for Soccer

Well, Jason survived his first day coaching! He did a great job for both kids teams although he surprised himself at how much "easier" and more fun it was to coach the U7's vs U5's. Here are a few shots from today.

Jason with his mini assistant helping get all Noah's team members outfitted with name tags because "Coach" isn't good with names.
Coach with is U5 team...awhhh are they cute??
And then coach with some of his U7 team. Not that they are "allowed" to keep score, but our team scored 3 goals!! Go Yellow!!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous all weekend which made for an even more enjoyable time. Can't wait for the rest of the season!!

Easter

Our annual Easter traditions started the night before with the egg coloring at gramma's house. Ryan was over too so the 3 kids (plus Jason) went to town. We had lots of colorful creations on hand. Kylie did one glitter egg which was 1 too many. I caution all reader to NOT get that kit in the future...what a pain!!
In the morning the hunt was on for their baskets and lots of easter eggs left by the Easter Bunny...Kylie found hers first:
...and Noah wasn't too far behind.
We hung out for awhile playing outside with Justin and Makenna when they arrived before getting cleaned up and dressed to head for Easter dinner at Nana Sicko's house. Below is a rare family shot :o)
...and the Annual cousins shot! I can't believe how quickly these kids are growing up...although I'm sure that my mom, gramma, aunts, etc are all saying the same thing about me.
Such a great weekend!!

Laura's Shower

Okay...so a little behind in the posts...here comes the last week + of events. Last Saturday we had a nice afternoon with family to celebrate the soon to be arrival of Anthony Michael. Laura looks so cute, but like most of us is getting ready for the end result. Here are few pics from the shower:
The little Yankee fan will be all geared up!
Little helpers on hand for present time...
Little loving cousin time....who me???

Picnic Anyone??

Loving the nice weather. Working this morning and let me tell you its a lot easier when the kids can be outside playing. Why is it that they can play so much better together out there then indoors? Took a couple sneak pictures of the picnic they are having in the front yard with the dinosaurs. Mudpies anyone??
