Soccer or snowball fights?

This is insane!!  It is October 29th at 1:20 and we have at least an inch of snow!!  The kids were able to squeeze in about 1/2 hr of the last soccer game for the season.  Incredible pics below:

8 Gup Blue Belt

We are so proud of our little man!  He did a great job tonight at his belt test.  This is the first time he is testing with the whole school instead of within his class.  It is a long test, but he worked hard and earned his 8 Gup Blue Belt!!

Catchup from the past week

So with all the craziness of schedules lately I'm way behind again...sorry!  So last Friday the kids had their halloween party at school.  Here are my little pirate:

Saturday it was off to our last football game of the season.  The boys finished the season undefeated!!  8-0!

Then off to soccer where Miss Kylie scored 3 goals...winning the game for her team.  Noah had a lot of assists as well.  Didn't take a lot of shots at the game...but this is the comical one of our dynamite defense...hahaha (Kylie hates to be anything but offense):

Kylie was off to a sleepover while we went out to dinner.  On Sunday Jason manage to survive the parents football game...apprently catching a 70 yd touchdown pass as well as 4 - 5 other catches....mind you he is still sore today (Thursday).  Meanwhile the rest of us went the circus and had a blast:

After the circus it was home so that Jason & Noah could go to the end of the season football party and the girls went to the Flood relief fundraiser dinner for the daycare.  Needless to say we were all exhausted in the end.

Tuesday Noah's class went on their field trip.  They got to take a hayride, apple pick, play on a nice playscape and see some animals.  Weather was great and the kids had a blast.  I think 1/2 the bus slept on the way back to school:

 

Noah has his big belt test tomorrow, last week of soccer on Saturday assuming the snow stays away, Halloween party Saturday afternoon & maybe a last min apple picking/corn maze trip Sunday...Stay Tuned!!

Survived another weekend

Technically not done, but so far survived another chaotic weekend.  Unfortunately no pics to share this time, but the boys pulled out another win today.  They are now 5-0 after winning 24 to 6 today.  Noah didn't get as much playing time because he prefers to play defense and our offense was on the field ALOT.  What he did play though was good :)  Three more games and we should be done for the season..we'll see.

It was an exciting game, but the kids seemed extra worn out due to the humidity.  Can't wait for next week :)

Football & Soccer

No pictures to post for now because we are off to a party, but wanted to update those that anxiously await the results.  Noah won his football game 30 - 6.  He played quite a bit and luckily the rain held off other than a slight misting at the beginning of the game.  We went straight from there to soccer when both kids played as Kylie's team was short players.  They both did great and Kylie scored a goal!  Their team won 2 - 1.  Overall great morning.  Gotta run  ... stay tuned for more soon!

The Week in Review

Busy week as all the activities started back up.  Monday - Football practice, Tuesday - Karate, Gymnastics & Open House at school, Wednesday - Dance, Thursday - Dance & FB practice, Friday - FB practice & sleepover party then games today.  Are you tired yet? Hahaha.  It was fun though.  So for football today, the kids had pictures with their new uniforms at 8, weigh ins at 9 and game at 10.  The boys won again 32 - 18 (and yes the score is right...our defense scored a safety :o) ).  Noah had fun and got to play the line for offense & defense matched up to someone that was almost twice his size.  He did get pushed back and you'll understand why from the pic below, but he did his job and kept the guy occupied long enough:

After the boys won, we were off to opening day for soccer.  Kylie did great!  She had a little injury with her knee so she sat for a little, but got the courage to go back in.  Didn't get too many good pics today, but here is one action shot of her running down the field after the ball.  Will try for more next week.
