The Trip So Far....

Ok I know...no pictures last time. I realized after I posted that Jay's computer wasn't able to download the program to load out to the slideshow website...so we are back to including a couple pictures in the posting. I can't believe it's Monday already. The kids are still asleep after their 3rd day of non-stop running through the parks. We were at Epcot Friday & Saturday and then Magic Kingdom yesterday. Kylie is on a mission to fill her entire autograph book and they are well on the way with over 20 signatures so far. Some of their favorite rides so far have been Test Track at Epcot & Thunder Mountain at Magic. We have quite the dare devils on our hands. Kylie is pretty much up for any and all rides...Noah is not a fan of the dark ones at all. The earplugs have made it a much better experience for him. We had dinner with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger & Eeyore last night. Today we are heading to Hollywood Studios and we have lunch at Hollywood & Vine. Overall the kids have been amazing...we've had a few meltdowns, but after going for 13 hrs straight...Jay and I were melting down too...haha. That's all for now....enjoy the pictures below and I'll try to update again later in the week.

All of us at Epcot Friday Night
Dinner at Akershus (Norway) with the princesses...obviously the kids with Ariel below :o)

This was Saturday at Epcot in Morocco with Aladdin & Jasmine (Kylie is determined to get all the princesses...this made 6)

Noah after the fireworks last night. As soon as they were done (just after 10pm) be said Mommy tip me back and literally within 30 seconds he was out!

Kylie's surprise in the room when we returned last night. Each day they have left the towels in a different shape. Below is a birthday cake and card as we are "celebrating" her birthday while we are here. She has been getting the royal treatment all over the place.

Our First day at Disney

Ok for those of you that have been patiently waiting for an update...sorry for the delay....this will be a bit long. We told the kids first thing when they got up yesterday. They didn't really understand until we got to the airport. Kylie was very excited and a huge help traveling. She was in charge of one of the carry on items that she carted through the airports and the plane. We got to the hotel and had some lunch and went to the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. The kids had a blast and didn't want to get out. We went to our room which is so nice. The view is amazing...zebras, giraffes, and a bunch of others. We all got changed and headed to Epcot where we ran into Aunt Dawn and Uncle Dave. It was a good surprise that pulled our little helper girl out of the grumpy state that she was starting to slip into. We had dinner with the princesses which was amazing. We saw Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White and Ariel....the kids were in heaven. I believe they've already racked up 10 or so autographs and Kylie is determined to fill her entire autograph book. We saw the "Beatles" play which the kids loved. Noah has been having a good time, but so far isn't to sure about the dark and loud rides. We stayed for the Illuminations show last night which was fantastic. Noah conked out just before the show and was so exhausted that he didn't even flinch with fireworks..hahaha. We got back to the hotel around 11 last night and Kylie managed to walk the entire way back. They both slept in which if you know my kids does not happen. Kylie got up around 8:30 and Noah just got up before 9. Getting ready now for a new adventure today....until the next update :) Check out the pics to the right when they load.

Soccer Star

Sorry it's been a while since the last post. We've been crazy busy with getting ready to go away. Amazingly the kids are still in the dark about it..woohoo. Sunday was Kylie's first day of soccer and we were a little unsure how she would do based on her performance 2 years ago (flower picking and holding hands rather than playing soccer). Sunday was completely different. She ran out onto the field, did all the drills with her coach as requested and when it came to game time she ran after the ball...stole it a time or two and actually assisted in scoring a goal!!! She had a lot of fun. Noah did too. Because he isn't 4 yet they won't let him play, but he spent the entire hour running up and down the sideline dribbling his soccer ball and racing some of the other kids that were there. He will be more than ready for fall soccer!! Enjoy the shots below:

Happy Easter Cousins

Little Miss Lucky

Saturday afternoon the kids got to each pick an egg out of a tub for a prize (local radio station back home was giving away prizes). Most of the kids were winning coloring books, stickers, candy, but not Kylie. She won a family four pack to see Walking with the Dinosaurs in June. It's a live show...check out the details at the following site: http://www.dinosaurlive.com/

Happy Easter!!

The Easter Bunny left a scavenger hunt for the kids which lead them to a huge box of sidewalk chalk. Kylie did a good job sounding out all her words to read the clues that lead them to the prize. Then they found their baskets high over head. They are now glued to the TV watching the DVDs of the Smurfs that they found in their baskets. Enjoy the pictures below!

Our New Cutie...

We got to visit little mister Cayden yesterday at the hospital and he's such a good baby. Hardly fussed the entire time...Matt and Ashley are hoping he stays that content :) Mommy and baby are home today relaxing and getting ready for the Easter Bunny to come tonight. Enjoy the shots of us below:

Kylie & Noah were fascinated by him. Asking lots of questions and being sure to let me know how much they love me...little nervous jealousy I think :)

Countdown to Cayden's Arrival

You will notice I've removed the countdown to Ashley's due date. This is because my nephew decided he wants to come a little earlier! Ashley is going to be induced this afternoon so hopefully by tomorrow sometime I will have the details of the new munchkin. Good Luck Matt & Ashley. We love you!

Kylie's 6th Birthday

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Kylie's birthday. She had the most fun a little girl can have this past weekend and you all made it extra special for her. She bounced from one gift to the next last night and absolutely loved it all. Both her and Noah commented about how many people were there and all the fun things they did with you all. We have very special family & friends and we love you all!! Keep an eye out for pictures of Kylie's friend party to the right as well as a special message she recorded for everyone. Enjoy the couple pics below from the Sunday too.

Kylie's School

Just added a link to Fisher Elementary on the right panel for anyone interested in checking out Kylie's school. If you click on classrooms and then search for Shari Kohl that is Kylie's Art teacher. Click on kindergarten and you will see a picture of her working on her penguin. Her other teachers are Katherin Bart (Kindergarten), Corinna Grossman (Music), and Jerry Curtiss (Gym), but there isn't much on their links. Also, I've been changing the "Remember When" picture daily or every other day as flashback of when the kids were little. Check back often.
