Weekend at the Fair

We had a lot of fun last weekend as usual.  The mom's came out for a visit too which was awesome.  So first stop was the fair Saturday morning.  Got there around 11am to take advantage of the ride bracelets.  When it comes to the fairs that is the best way to go with little ones.  The kids were together for the first few mins then they went their separate ways with their friends:

We grabbed some lunch and then finished up the rides at 3pm before adventuring to the rest of the fair.  Here is a picture of the 2 big kids playing games:

They won each of the kids an animal :o)  Then it was onto see the animals.  Of course we had to catch the pig races which Kylie actually raised her hand and volunteered.  She was chosen as the leader for Pig #1 - Tammy Fay Bacon....and she won:

We headed over to the gazebo to see if we won one of the free bikes, but no such luck  We hung around for T-Bone and the kids had fun putting on a parade, hula hooping, beach balling, etc.

Once the show was over we needed to go get changed and ready for the karate demo.  Quick change in the car and we were back in time to catch the second half of the magic show before the demo.  Kylie was feeling awfully brave and decided to volunteer again...and was picked...again!!

Finally it was time for the demo.  All the kids did a great job.  Here are a few shots of Noah doing his star block set and taking down his friend Sadie:

We went home for some dinner and a family movie night before heading to bed.  The next morning was Jason's birthday.  Had a few things to do during the day, mom's headed home and then we went to Outback for dinner.  When we got home the kids sang happy birthday to him and headed to bed:
